I have been fortunate to have a father who was a teacher, and he had always tutored me since before Kindergarten. Though I didn't realize it then, the time he spent to teach me outside of school was extremely valuable, because it gave me a safe space to learn at my own pace, develop study habits, ask questions, and moreover, work ahead. I can almost guarantee that my path wouldn't have been the same had it not been for the tutoring I received at home.
Since the third grade, I took planning and scheduling into my own hands, excited to use my school planner to map out tasks and complete projects ahead of time. Through my time in the education system, I have trained, developed, and honed this skill to a point where I feel prepared to share this knowledge with others.
Through the past few years, I have realized that I am fortunate - to be tutored at home, to afford all my outside resources, and to have constant home, peer, and school support.
My aim is simple: help level the playing field by providing affordable access to educational resources.
